My life was shaped by the Baylor friends I have made and the acquaintances I've met. Karen Pope, Art History Department. I attended a number of my classes for my major under Dr. Pope, and traveled with her to Paris and Chicago to examine art. It was a great opportunity to study the art of her. I remember her telling me that art history was a huge puzzle and that we must always look for the correct pieces. My dad owned the car dealership, which meant that I was required to work at the dealership every summer. I was a mechanic's helper changing oil and brakes pads in the summer.
